- Name campaigns according to our policy.
- Specify budgets
- Set bid strategy
- Set campaign-specific goals if needed
- Disable display placements
- Set language targeting
- Set geographic targeting
- Set geo targeting method & exclusions (if necessary)
- Rotate ads indefinitely if A/B testing ads
- Set keyword bids if manual bidding is used
- Add ad assets
- Add brand as negative keywords
- Add audience exclusions if needed (e.g. current customers)
- Add audiences for observation
- Add customer lists to enable customer match
- Check linking with GA4 or other accounts
- If only auto-tagging should be used, check that it’s activated.
